Fallen police officers and firefighters will be remembered forever in Adams County, thanks to a new Memorial at the County’s 911 Center.
The facility, located in Gettysburg, dedicated the Memorial on Saturday.

It includes the names and pictures of all those who have been killed in the line of duty in Adams County. Organizers are happy to see the 2 1/2 year-long project completed.

“Never forget, we don’t have to ask that question now, who were they? We will never forget, and we get to see them every day, this building gets used quite a bit so people will know,” says Donna Powers, 911 Coordinator.

Brandon Little, a volunteer firefighter with United Hook & Ladder is the latest to die in the line of duty.  Little was killed in 2012 while responding to a fire.
