Police: Woman arrested after shooting man along W. King Street

Police have arrested a woman in connection with shooting in York City that injured a man early Saturday morning.

Bridgette Samuel, of York, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Authorities were called to the 300 block of West King Street around 6 a.m. after getting reports of shots fired.

Officers found the victim, 26-year-old Tristan Hughes, with a gunshot wound to his leg.

Police arrested Samuel at the scene and she was taken to central booking for arraignment.
