The Pennsylvania State Police has issued an Amber Child Abduction Alert for the Edwardsville Police Department Luzerne County.
Between the hours of 10:00 p.m. on August 20th and 5:30 a.m. on August 21st, Michael Appel, 4 years old, was abducted from his home in Edwardsville PA. He is described as a white male, 3ft 7in tall, 47 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was abducted by his father, Michael Appel Sr, a white male, 23 yrs old. The vehicle they were travelling in a silver Ford explorer, bearing Pennsylvania registration GCK4470 was located in the City of Wilkes Barre. Direction of travel is unknown at this time.
