A website has been set up for the Harrisburg Heat soccer player who was shot multiple times in Chester County over the weekend. Jason Hotchkin, doesn’t have health insurance and is in the hospital recovering. He has been upgraded to good condition at Paoli Hospital in West Chester. People with the Harrisburg Heat say he is up and walking and talking.

West Chester police say the 35-year-old  was shot multiple times early Sunday morning around 2 a.m. after a fight.

After word spread about the shooting a website was set up to raise money to help cover his medical expenses.

“ It`s been great and frankly a a little overwhelming with social media, you don`t know who is going to pick it up. But we`re at $9,000 and we`re trying to get it up for him,” says Justin Windsor, Director of Community Relations, Harrisburg Heat

The Heat, hoping people will continue to donate. If you’d like to donate click here :

The Harrisburg City Islanders are also doing their part to help. At Saturday’s game they’re donating $1 of every ticket sold to help with his medical expenses.
