A Lebanon man has been arrested for calling in a fake bomb threat to the Dauphin County Courthouse, police said.
William Martin Vancise, 21, was taken into custody in Lebanon on Monday after he called state police saying a bomb was set to detonate at the courthouse in Harrisburg.
According to police reports, Vancise gave a description of the devise and a detonation time.
He told authorities he built the bomb and had a friend place it at the courthouse.
Both the Dauphin County Courthouse and the Harrisburg Police Department buildings were evacuated and searched by bomb-sniffing dogs.
He is charged with making terroristic threats and disorderly conduct.
Vancise is being held on $15,000 in Lebanon County Prison.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 20 .
