Strong storms have moved out.  Still seeing a few showers linger but they too will end around 1am.  Clouds will hang on for awhile but break up by morning.  Lows tonight will be cooler dropping into the upper 50s to low 60s.

A TASTE OF FALL IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND

Friday, with high pressure building in as well as a deep trough digging to our south, temperatures will take a big swing downward and well below average.  Strong piece of energy in the afternoon and evening will produce afternoon clouds making it a bit overcast for awhile before gradually clearing overnight.  Temps will only make it to the low 70s and the winds will be quite breezy out of the northwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts much higher.  This will help to usher in drier and cooler air for the weekend.

Meteogram Temps

With the Jetstream to our south, cooler air will spill in from the north-northwest.  Over the weekend, we’ll enjoy cool nights in the 40s with highs maybe stuck in the 60s Saturday despite full of sunshine.  It will be warmer by Sunday with highs in the mid 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Early next week it looks like we continue the dry stretch of weather with highs remaining in the 70s.

Open the windows if your allergies are not too horrible and enjoy the cooler more refreshing air!
