QUICK FRONT:  A cold front is sliding through this morning, and it’s bringing with it some light showers for the Monday morning commute.  The rain should taper by late morning into the midday hours.  It looks like the low level clouds will hang tight for a good chunk of the day as a reinforcing shot of cool and dry air rolls in underneath them.  Highs today should top out near 70° with a northwesterly breeze 8-12mph.  Tonight, the clouds break as temperatures dip into the middle and upper 40s.

MID-WEEK : The remainder of the week looks quiet for the most part.  We’ll see a slow warming trend with temps ranging from near 70° on Tuesday to near 80° by Friday.  The cool mornings will be replaced by mild air late in the week too.  We’re mostly sunny to start on Tuesday with partly cloudy skies by Friday.  Not much happening here in this final week of summer!

FINAL SUMMER WEEKEND:  Fall arrives on Sunday at 4:44PM, so we’ll get one final weekend of summer.  It looks mild with the chance for showers and maybe a storm or two Saturday, with a lingering shower chance into Sunday.  We’re holding highs in the middle to upper 70s, so we’ll be at or above average for the weekend.

Enjoy this final Monday of summer!
