A Strasburg man is arrested for robbing an Amish roadside stand in Lancaster County. It happened around 1pm Saturday at the Cherry Lane Produce (roadside stand) located at 2806 Irishtown Road in East Lampeter Township. Witnesses told police a heavy-set man with blonde hair was at the stand for a long time, ordering a lot of produce and talking with the Amish female tending the stand. When the girl walked away to get the box, the suspect grabbed the cash box and took off in a blue Scion TC Coupe. An alert officer in Strasburg stopped a vehicle matching the description in Strasburg Borough. Bradley Charles Everhart, 31, was identified as the suspect in the robbery and taken into custody. Police recovered the $200 in cash he stole in the cash box.

Everhart is charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking.
