The Cumberland County Volunteer Firefighters Association (CCVFFA) is warning residents of a possible fundraising scam. There are reports of people soliciting donations on behalf of the firefighters. CCVFFA says they do NOT solicit donations by phone or mail and they are not receiving any funding from this solicitation. Anyone who receives a solicitation by phone or mail is asked to contact CCVFFA President Curtis Alleman, ccvffa@gmail.com or 717-940-0702. Any residents who have donated are urged to call their local police department.
