FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

A fabulous evening to enjoy a high school football game.  Tonight’s game of the week is New Oxford at South Western.  It will be dry, pleasant with mild conditions. Temperatures start in the mid 70s then fall to the upper 60s by the end of the game.  Have fun!

MUCH WELCOMED RAIN

A cold front will slowly encroach on the area tomorrow and bring a healthy dose of much needed rain.   It looks like we could see a period of rain which could last several hours in the afternoon and evening which may result in anywhere from a half inch to an inch of rainfall total.  While the best chance for rain will be after noon, can’t rule out drizzle or a shower in the early morning.  Highs should get to the low 70s before the wet weather arrives.  Rain looks to exit slowly Saturday night. Skies will partially clear allowing temperatures to drop the mid and upper 50s.

FALL OFFICIALLY ARRIVES

We welcome the fall season at 4:44pm in the afternoon and with highs in the 60s and breezy north-northwesterly winds, it will feel like it.  Sun will mix in and out of the clouds through the day.

EARLY NEXT WEEK

The area will once again be under the influence of high pressure.  Nights will be quite chilly in the 40s for a couple of mornings and despite abundant sunshine and dry conditions to start the week, we’ll struggle to get out of the 60s Monday but quickly warm up as the week progresses to the 80s by Friday.

If you are headed to Penn State this weekend to watch them take down Kent State, pack an umbrella and the rain gear.  Rain is very likely. Temperatures will be stuck in the 60s because of the wet weather.  Make the most of it and have fun!

Have a great evening!
