Police have charged a Mount Holly Springs man with attempted murder in connection with a shooting in Carlisle on Saturday.
Brian Hippensteel, 49, is facing numerous charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, according to court documents.
Police said Hippensteel shot a man in the head along the 600 block of North West Street just before 6 p.m.
The unidentified victim was taken to Hershey Medical Center and is listed in stable condition, according to police.
Hippensteel was denied bail by a judge on Sunday. He is currently in Cumberland County Prison.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 25.
