A Dillsburg man is behind bars after leading state police on a high-speed chase through two counties early Saturday morning.
The chase began on Interstate 83 in Cumberland County when troopers attempted to stop 32-year-old Benjamin Hart for erratic driving, according to police reports.
Hart fled at a high rate of speed through several jurisdictions before stopping at residence in Warrington Township, York County, police said.
Hart fled on foot but was apprehended short time later.
He is charged with DUI, fleeing and eluding police and numerous traffic violations.
Hart was taken to Cumberland County Prison on $25,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 30.
