The York County Coroner’s office has confirmed that a woman who died in a house explosion and fire on the 3000 block of Sticks Road in Codorus Township, died of smoke inhalation and burns.
The explosion happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday. Pennsylvania State Police and the State Fire Marshal’s office are still investigating the cause.
The coroner is expected to release the woman’s name Wednesday, after checking her identity through dental records.
