York man charged with impersonating FBI Agent

Federal prosecutors have announced charges against a York man who allegedly impersonated an FBI agent.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Brandon H. Schnetzka, 40, of York, was indicted Wednesday after he claimed he was a FBI agent while trying to get a loaner car from a Mechanicsburg auto dealer. The incident happened in March of this year.

Schnetzka was indicted by a federal grand jury in Harrisburg. The indictment charges him with one count of impersonating an officer or employee of the United States.
