Fatal car crash in Dauphin County

An Elizabethtown woman is dead after a car wreck in Dauphin County.

The woman, 23, was driving a 2007 Chevy Cobalt in Londenberry Township along the East Harrisburg Pike Road around 1:30 this morning. She crossed the center line and smashed into a telephone pole. The driver side door came off and the woman was thrown from the vehicle. The vehicle, still moving, hit and killed her.

Police pronounced her dead at the scene. The woman was not wearing her seat belt.
