A firefighter is recovering in a Hanover hospital after injuring his shoulder while he fought the flames at the Hanover potato products factory at 60 black rock road.

Smoke was coming out of the factory around 2:45 this morning.

Penn Township fire chief, Jan Cormer, says the warehouse rents out space to a book company that stores books that are packed in boxes and shipped out.

Nearly a dozen fire trucks were on the scene controlling this fire that is under control.

The cause is still unknown but the fire Marshall is expected on the scene at 8:00 am to investigate a cause.

The chief says he believes is is accidental.
