A Night of Smiles lived up to its name at the Camp Hill Radisson, where kids struggling with health issues received gift bags and helped a good cause.
Caitlin’s Smiles is a nonprofit that provides arts and crafts activities to kids with life-threatening or chronic illnesses. They were raising money with an auction at the event.”This for us is a perfect fundraiser because children in hospitals who have received our bags are giving back by donating their artwork,” says Cheryl Hornung, who founded the charity.
Caitlin’s Smiles was founded in memory of Caitlin Hornung, who loved arts and crafts. She passed away from a brain tumor at age 7.
