Berks Co. DA: No charges for high school QB for throwing footballs at teammate

Hamburg High School quarterback Joey Cominsky won’t face charges stemming from an incident captured on video showing him throwing footballs at a teammate in the school gymnasium.

Berks County District Attorney John Adams says following an investigation by the county’s Detective Unit, it was determined that criminal charges are not warranted as a result of the incident.

Cominsky, returned to the Hawks’ lineup Friday night and played part of the first half.
