Police arrested a 25-year-old man Monday who is suspected of having sex with a 13-year-old girl in Shippensburg.
William Ridley is facing numerous charges including statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors and indecent assault on a person less than 16 years of age, according to online court records.
Police said the sexual encounters began when the girl was 13 years old.
Ridley was living at the victim’s house when the alleged incidents occurred between May 2012 and April 2013.
Ridley was arrested and taken to Cumberland County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.
