Carroll Valley Borough Police reports an overnight burglary that happened September 30th into October 1st 2013. An unknown person or persons broke into a small utility trailer belonging to Jason Stoner parked at Frontier Bar B Q, at the intersection of Fairfield Road and Waynesboro Pike, Carroll Valley.
Mr. Stoner is a recognized chainsaw sculpting artist.
Stolen from the trailer were the following specialty chain saws:
1 Stihl MS-660 Chainsaw with 3 foot Stihl bar
1 Stihl MS-440 with 16 inch Cannon “Carver”mini bar with 3/8’ low pro chain. (See picture)
1 Stihl MS-361 with 20 inch Cannon “Carver” toonie bar (See picture), with 3/8’ low pro chain and ported, polished muffler.
1 Stihl MS-260 with 14 inch Cannon “Carver” toonie bar. (See picture), with 3/8’ low pro chain.
1 Stihl MS-250 with 16 inch Cannon “Carver” dime bar. (See picture) with 3/8’ low pro chain.
2 Stihl MS-200 with rare rear handle configuration. (Most had top handle.) Equipped with 12 inch Cannon quarter bar and ¼” chain. (See picture)
1 Stihl MS-260. Equipped with 14 inch Cannon “Carver” toonie bar. (See picture)
1 Echo CS-620P w/ 24″ Echo bar
All but 2 of these saws are specifically set up for carving, are valued in total in excess of $5,400 and as such should be easy to distinguish from regular saws, especially by the “Cannon” and “Carver” markings on the bars. Example of Cannon carving bars:

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Carroll Valley Borough Police at (717) 334-8101. Adams County Crime Stoppers may pay a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved.
