A Shippensburg woman is facing charges after allegedly assaulting a police officer.

Police say Allison Bull,23, and her ex-boyfriend got into an argument at a residence on the 300 block of East King Street.  Bull left the home and came back with two people. Police say she used a large cooler to break glass out of two windows at the home.

While officers were speaking to the ex-boyfriend, police say Bull tried to leave. Officers yelled at Bull numerous times to stop but she refused until officers caught up with her.

Police say that Bull refused to identify herself and resisted arrest. She punched the officer in the genitals and ran onto King Street ,nearly getting struck by a passing vehicle.

After the officer took Bull into custody she resisted again while police were getting her into vehicle, kicking an officer in the genitals.

Bull is being charged with felony aggravated assault, misdemeanor simple assault, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and summary criminal mischief.
