A Perry County woman was arrested Saturday after she confronted state troopers with a knife during a domestic disturbance, police said. Investigators responded to an apartment along the first block of Suzanne Drive in Penn Township just before 7 p.m.

According to police reports, 49-year-old Casey Flanagan came at troopers with a kitchen knife. Authorities ordered Flanagan to drop the knife and she complied.

During the arrest she became combative with troopers and resisted being placed in handcuffs.

Flanagan was arraigned and taken to prison on $50,000 bail.
