Armed robbery at York College

Two people were robbed at gunpoint shortly after midnight at York College. It happened at the York College North Side Commons, 400 block of East Jackson Street.

The victims told police they were approached by two robbers. One of them pulled a gun and demanded money from the victims. After taking money and a cell phone, the suspects were last seen running west on West Jackson Street.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1: about 6′ tall, of a thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Suspect #2: 6′ tall with a thin build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt.
