A man is dead following a car crash in perry County and police believe alcohol may have been a factor.
Benjamin Gardner was driving westbound on Route 8-50 between Comp Road and Paige Hill Road in Spring Township last night just before 11PM. Police say for an unknown reason Gardner crossed the yellow line and hit a car in the opposite lane.
Gardner died at the scene. The other driver suffered minor injuries and police believe he is to be okay.
