Fatal crash on Valley Road in Perry County

A man is dead after he lost control of his vehicle in Perry County.

Police say that Michael Houser, 37, was traveling West on Valley Road towards Shermans Dale, Pa,  when he lost control of his vehicle for unknown reason. He traveled off the right side onto the grassy shoulder, trying to regain control of his vehicle, he swerved left back onto the roadway, crossing both lanes, and continued off the left side.

The vehicle slammed into a dirt embankment before coming to a stop.

A passing vehicle saw the crash and called 911. Police say Houser did die as a result of the crash, they believe he was not wearing his seat belt.

Pennsylvania State Police assisted at the scene along with Perry County Coroners office.
