The Manheim Borough Water and Sewer Authority has initiated an emergency water conservation notice for all customers beginning immediately, today, October 11, 2013. The conservation has been initiated due to excessive flooding at the wastewater treatment plant and other facilities. Customers may experience sewer backups due to the excessive flows that have been sustained.

Conservation of water use is for all customers until otherwise notified.

Water is currently safe for consumption, but all customers are to limit use as much as possible.
