Heavy rains postpone some Friday football games

Friday morning’s heavy rains have forced the postponement of five L-L League football games.

* The Columbia at Annville-Cleona Section 3 battle has been wiped out. The Crimson Tide will now visit the Little Dutchmen on Monday, with a 6 p.m. kick.

* The Solanco at Conestoga Valley Section 2 game has been postponed. The Buckskins will now host the Golden Mules on Monday. Kick is at 7 p.m.

* The Pequea Valley at Donegal Section 3 tilt was washed out. The Braves are at the Indians on Monday with a 5 p.m. kick.

* The Lampeter-Strasburg at Manheim Central Section 2 first-place showdown has been postponed. The Barons, in search of their 500th win in program history, will welcome the Pioneers on Monday at 5 p.m.

* The Ephrata at Elizabethtown Section 2 game is off. The Mountaineers will take on the Bears on Monday in E-town at 7 p.m.
