York City Narcotics Unit seize weapons, drugs and charge three people in separate raids. On Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a home along the 600 block of Manor Street. They arrested 20 year old Edwin Toledo, seized Heroin with a street value of $900, a Bersa .380 semi-automatic handgun and an unmarked .357 revolver.
Charges against Toledo include Intent to Deliver Heroin and Delivery of Heroin.
Early Friday morning, the city narcotics unit executed a search warrant at a first floor apartment in the 200 block of South Penn Street. 19 year old Shaheim Carr and 23 year old Saquana Layer, both residents, were arrested. Police seized $2,200 in Heroin, $430 in Crack Cocaine, $25 in Marijuana and $1,000 in cash. They also seized a Kalashinikov .22 AK style rifle, three handguns, a Ruger 9 mm semi-automatic, a stolen Taurus .45 semi-automatic, a Beretta .40 semi-automatic, a Star 9 mm semi-automatic and a Hi-Point .45 semi-automatic.
Both suspects are charged with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession with the intent to Deliver Heroin, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Marijuana and Conspiracy. In addition, Car is charged with 2 counts of Delivery of Heroin, and detained on an outstanding robbery warrant.
