Lower Allen Township Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred tonight at the B&H Mart on the 3600 Block of Simpson Ferry Rd.
Around 7:30 P.M. a male entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded money. During the entire encounter, the robber kept the gun aimed on the store employee.
The robber is described as a male, tall and thin, was wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt, with the hood pulled up. He had some type of mask covering his face.
The subject fled towards St. Johns Rd. While this investigation is in its very early stages, Lower Allen Police will be coordinating their investigation with the Mechanicsburg Police Department. This is due to similarities in the suspect’s description with two previous robberies in the Borough.
Police do not have surveillance camera photos of the suspect at this time.
