Police search for suspect responsible for throwing fireworks into traffic

State police are looking for a man who tossed fireworks into traffic in Lancaster County on Oct. 8.  It happened last Tuesday night along Reading and Maple Grove Road in Brecknock Township.

Three fireworks were thrown from a moving pickup truck, causing damage to a vehicle occupied by a woman and a juvenile, police said.

According to police reports, the explosive detonated along the road, about 2 feet from the side of the vehicle where the juvenile was sitting.

The suspects vehicle is described as a white dual wheeled Ford Pickup truck. A witness told troopers they only know the man as “Bill.”
