Two arrested after a robbery in Harrisburg this afternoon.

Officers were called to the area of North 3rd and Hamilton Streets around 11:48 AM for reports of a robbery. Two female victims told police they were walking in the area when they were approached by robbers. The victims told police that one of the males displayed a handgun and demanded their purses. The second suspect repeated the demand. The victims were not injured.

After receiving a description of the suspects, police made contact with Jeffery Eutzy, 30, along the 300 block of Hamilton Street with another male, Robert Williamson, 27, both matching the description.

Police say both Eutzy and Williamson entered a home after seeing police.

Police spoke with Eutzy, and he was positively identified by one of the victims. Eutzy was then taken into custody.

Williamson was also taken into custody after police found him hiding inside of a closet inside the residence. He fought with officers when they attempted to arrest him. Once under arrest, upon putting him into a police vehicle he broke free and fled from officers. Police were forced to taser him. Police say Williamson was able to pull the taser from a police officer, but officers were able to regain possession of the taser.

Williamson later confessed to detectives his involvement in the robbery.

Police say one of the victim’s purse was found near the home, along with a BB gun and black hoodie. Police also recovered a #7 Eagles jersey, which reportedly one of the suspects was wearing.

Williamson is charged with aggravated assault on police, escape, resisting arrest and other counts.

Eutzy is charged with robbery, criminal conspiracy to commit robbery and instruments of crime.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call Dauphin County Police at 717-255-3158 and ask for a City detective.
