A Lancaster County man is arrested after firing a shotgun during a domestic disturbance. East Lampeter Township Police were called the 00 blk of Country Dr. Leola, Chelsea Village Apartments just after midnight for a report of a fight between a male and a female. Police arrived to find the female outside the apartment. The man, Steven Michael Neal, 23, was still inside the apartment.
The officers heard Neal working the action of a shotgun and then fire a shot. Neal then opened the front door to the apartment and was immediately taken into custody.
The shotgun was fired into the floor and did not exit the apartment. No one was injured.
Neal is charged with Discharge of Firearm into an occupied Structure, Recklessly Endangering another Person, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
