East Pennsboro Township Police continue to investigate the armed robbery that took place at Arooga’s restaurant in Camp Hill.

After reviewing surveillance video from the robbery that occurred on Saturday, October 12  at 2:50 a.m. at 1300 Camp Hill Bypass, police have released photos of the suspects. Police say the restaurant was closed for the night, but staff were still inside cleaning up when the robbers barged in. According to police reports, the masked robbers entered through an unlocked back door and confronted 10 people who were inside. The suspects forced everyone into the dining room and demanded cash, cell phones and jewelery. An employee was taken into the office where they were forced to hand over the restaurants money, police said. The robbers fled from the scene with an unknown amount of cash and personal items. No one was injured during the robbery.

A description of each suspect is:

Suspect 1:Black Male, heavy-set, over 6′ tall, wearing a blue in color heavy winter jacket. He wore full face mask and was armed with a handgun.

Suspect 2: White male, slender build, 5’10″to 6″ tall, wearing khaki colored hooded jacket. He wore a full face mask and he was also armed with a handgun.

Police do not believe that this incident is related to the recent armed robberies that occurred in the Mechanicsburg area that led to the arrest of James Borwegen. However, police are continuing to investigate any possible associations to Borwegen.

Police are also interested in identifying the owner of this red Ford pickup truck (pictured below) that was seen leaving the restaurant at the time of the robbery. The pickup is described as possible late 2000 Ford, Bright red color with a full size red truck bed cap.

Police are also looking into any similarities between the recent robbery that occurred on Wednesday at Arooga’s restaurant in York County on Wednesday, October 16.
