Children with special needs in York County now have a new place where they can feel right at home.
The Leg Up Farm, near Mount Wolf, is now offering more services at its new Wellness and Education Center.
The center offers aquatic therapy, creative movement and Autism support classrooms through collaboration with the Lincoln Intermediate Unit.
“The whole idea of Leg Up Farm is that we’ve brought together every therapy you can imagine for children all under one roof in these amazing, engaging environments, so now children want to come to therapy, they’re excited about being in therapy & the outcomes are better,” says Louie Castriota, Founder, President & CEO of Leg Up Farms.
Leg up farm specializes in helping children with disabilities and developmental delays.
The York County Economic Alliance hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Wellness and Education Center on Saturday to celebrate its opening for children across our area.
