Big chill on the way

SHOT 1:  A mild Monday gives way to a cool and breezy Tuesday as our first shot of cooler air rolls into the state today.  A front will allow a batch of cool air to settle in, holding temps near 60° today.  A few early drops give way to a partly cloudy to mostly clear Tuesday.  Overnight, we cloud up quickly with isolated showers slipping in from the south as a lobe of energy rides through.  Here comes shot two.

SHOT 2:  Scattered showers accompany shot two of cool air, making for a damp, breezy, raw Wednesday.   Highs will only make it to the middle 50s!  Talk about a big change.  The rain will break up, but the clouds and cool breeze sticks around for Thursday.  We start the day in the middle 30s and end it in the low 50s under partly sunny skies.  We keep the chill and a slow return to sunshine for Friday.  Many of us start at or below freezing Friday morning, our first wide-spread freeze of the season.  Friday we top out in the low 50s with sunshine.

Next Four Days

WEEKEND:  We’re still cool this weekend.  Mornings are chill and in the 30s with afternoons topping out in the middle 50s.  A good fall weekend ensues, but stay warm!

Have a terrific Tuesday!
