Traffic stop leads to an arrest on drug charges

A routine traffic stop over the weekend leads to the arrest of a Harrisburg woman on drug charges.  It happened at about 11:30 pm Saturday, October 19 on Chambers Hill Road at 40th Street.

The driver of the vehicle, Tawanda Brown, 36, was found to be in possession of suspected cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Swatara Township Police arrested Brown on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Driving under Suspension and Registration and Certificate of Title required.
