Actress behind voice of a character on The Simpsons has died

Sad news for fans of FOX’s hit show The Simpsons. Marcia Wallace, the voice of Edna Krabappel has died.
Show producer Al Jean confirmed her death Saturday morning and called it a terrible loss.
He says Wallace’s irreplaceable character, Bart Simpson’s teacher, will be retired from the show.
Wallace, a longtime TV actress, was also a regular on “The Bob Newhart Show.”
