Clouds to sunshine

Sunday will be a beautiful autumn day!

Highs reach the middle 50s on Sunday.

A weak cold front heading this way increases clouds through evening hours.  A few sprinkles are possible before the front exits overnight, otherwise expect mainly dry conditions.  Skies clear out by daybreak, leading way to a gorgeous autumn day.  Plenty of sunshine begins the morning, with only a few passing clouds during the afternoon.  Highs reach the middle 50s across the region— milder, but still below seasonable averages for this time in October.

The cool air continues to slowly lift out into next week, allowing a warmer flow to develop.  This results in temperatures climbing closer to seasonable averages.  Monday brings a mixture of sunshine and clouds with highs in the middle to upper 50s.  A warm front approaches Tuesday and increases clouds.  High are near 60 degrees.

Wednesday is mostly cloudy, with a shower or two possible as a warm front lifts north during the morning.  Thursday should be mainly dry, but there is still a chance for a few showers.  We’ll continue to keep an eye on this for the trick-or-treat forecast, but so far, it’s looking dry!  Friday a cold front sweeps through, bringing widespread rain to the region.  Temperatures rise above average into the 60s!  We dry out by Saturday, but cooler air returns.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
