Police: Man breaks into fire station, steals ground beef and cash

A man has been arrested after breaking into the Bowmansville fire station and stealing cases of soda, crackers, ground beef and cash,  police said.

Scott Arthur Antoniotti, 28, of York, is charged with burglary and theft by unlawful taking.

The incident occurred sometime during the overnight hours on Oct. 14 and Oct. 15 at the fire house located along the 100 block of West Maple Grove Road in Denver. According to state police reports, Antoniotti gained access to the fire station by using the ambulance garage bay door.

Antoniotti was arrested Friday and taken to Lancaster County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 8.
