Tuesday, Community Aid, Inc. charity issued a $10,000 grant to the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition to help fund their awareness and research efforts.

“Community Aid has been blessed by the generosity of our friends and neighbors to have the ability to give $10,000 to an incredible organization like the PBCC,” says Community Aid executive director Glenn Chandler. “We pray this donation puts us all 10,000 steps closer to a cure for breast cancer.”

Since July of 2009, Community Aid has been able to give cash grants exceeding $2.3 million to over 200 partners. This money is used to support and fund projects that help people in our local communities

Community Aid is a faith-based nonprofit organization with a mission to serve the community by creating good jobs.

The PBCC, celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2013, represents, supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants.
