COOLER DAY: Overnight, a cold front slid southbound allowing for a pocket of cooler air to slip in for your Tuesday. We’ll start with sunshine today, but clouds will gradually fill in later as we progress toward the evening. Highs today are in the middle to upper 50s. Tonight, we’re mostly cloudy with lows in the low 40s.
WARMING TO RAIN: The frontal boundary from today stalls to our south on Wednesday. A few showers may ride north into our area, but the day will generally be dry with mostly cloudy skies prevailing. We make it back to the low 60s for highs. On Thursday, a warm front glides north. We keep the clouds as highs make it to the middle and upper 60s. However, the front may bring with it some rain for a part of the day. A cold front drags behind it overnight Thursday into Friday. This brings rain for Thursday night, tapering by midday Friday. The colder air holds off until Saturday through. Friday will be breezy and mild too with highs in the upper 60s.
HALLOWEEN EVENING: A few showers may be around for trick-or-treaters during the evening, but it does look as if many will remain dry for now. Showers will start to move in for those of you planning to be out later in the evening hours. The best rain chance comes after midnight. Temps will hover near 60°, so it’s mild.
WEEKEND: We’ll stay pretty cloudy for Saturday as the cooler air starts to filter into the state. Highs will top out near 60°. The coldest batch of air comes in for Sunday. As skies clear, the temps fall with a cold core high pressure moving in. We’ll only hit the low 50s Sunday. Monday isn’t much warmer, with temps in the low to mid 50s.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME ENDS: Saturday night before bed, don’t forget to switch the clocks back one hour. We move to standard time at 2AM Sunday morning. This is also a good time to ensure you’re batteries are fresh in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.
