Fire damages York City home

Fire damages a York City row home.  The fire broke out shortly after 9 o’clock in the 100 block of West King Street. The first crews on the scene reported smoke pouring from the first floor of the two story row home.  The blaze spread quickly to the second floor before it was brought up control n less than half an hour.

Crews from several fire companies from outside the city also responded to the scene.  No word on the cause of the fire.
