Fire breaks at a Delta Pizza shop in Delta, York County. It happened at the Delta Pizza Restaurant around 1:00 this morning. One firefighter suffered minor injuries and is expected to be ok. The shop had residences living on top of it they all escaped unharmed. There’s no word yet on the cause of the fire. Stay with Fox43 News for the latest information.

Cleanup is underway after fire damages a pizza shop , and the apartments above it in York County early this morning. One firefighter was hurt but those living above the restaurant were able to get out ok. One of the firefighters today not only had to battle the flames but a personal connection as well. The injured firefighter was one firefighter’s fiancé.
“ It was tough to know that happens you still have to go on. You have to take care of it. She was in extremely good hands,” says Jeff Petty, Assistant Chief, Delta-Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company
The fire started around 1:30 Wednesday morning. Firefighters having to pull out at one point as the roof collapsed.
People living above the restaurant all got out ok, but the real damage here will be the memories lost at this family restaurant.
“ It`s a bad one it will have a huge impact on the town – with it being a town business that everyone visits it will be a huge effect on the town,” says Petty
A cause of the fire has not been determined.
