Pennsylvania hunters spent time Saturday learning how to improve their aim for the upcoming deer season.
Members of the Pennsylvania National Guard Marksmanship Unit hosted “Operation Sure Shot” at Fort Indiantown Gap.
Sportsmen and hunters had the opportunity to learn and improve their shooting skills from some of the best marksmen in the state.
“We open up the range once a year to civilians in the area which is something that they don’t have an opportunity to do, to shoot on a military range and it’s a good relationship building thing with the community, the local community,” said Major John Younger, Team Chief of the Marksmanship Training Unit.
Rifle deer season begins December 2nd.
