Former military members were honored in Lancaster County on Saturday.
Pennsylvania State Representatives Ryan Aument and Mindy Fee hosted the “Salute to your Service” recognition ceremony in West Hempfield Township. Veterans and their families who live in the 37th and 41st districts were honored for their service to our country at the Pleasant Ridge Retirement Community.
“A phenomenal amount of veterans here today and their families and just to tell them how much we appreciate their service and their families that are there to support them,” said State Rep. Mindy Fee.
“As a veteran personally, I have a particular interest, a passion for veterans, for their veterans, who have sacrificed, who have given so much whether serving in peace time or in theaters of combat,” said State Rep. Ryan Aument.
