It was the #1 news story in 2012 – the crimes of Jerry Sandusky, and the controversial firing of Penn State’s Joe Paterno and President Graham Spanier. National media invaded Central Pennsylvania for weeks.  And then the media left, leaving the people of Happy Valley to grapple with the reverberations and remaining questions.  Producer Eric Porterfield knew there was more to be told. He gathered a crew of top-notch filmmakers from across the country and they settled in for “365 Days: A Year in Happy Valley.” The resulting film premieres in late December, with an exclusive showing in York in January. Eric joins us this morning in studio.

Exclusive York Screening is Thursday, January 16, 2014.  7pm at The PSU Pullo Family Performing Arts Center.  Tickets: $12.  Purchase in advance at 365daysthefilm.com
