In the City of Harrisburg, Mayor-Elect Eric Papenfuse introduced this new team when he takes office.  Papenfuse’s transition team is headed by Robert Melville.  Melville has more than 30 years experience working as a consultant transitioning new governments.  He’s worked with the Governors of Colorado and Missouri as well as the Mayor of Denver.  Along with Melville, Harrisburg Police Chief Thomas Carter and Susquehanna Township Police Chief Robert Martin head the public safety teams.  Papenfuse says his team is a good mix for the city.  He says his transition team will work with other community leaders to help make the transition as smooth as possible for when he takes office in the middle of January.
