Police to file charges in High School Football Fight from September

Police in Lebanon County are pressing charges in connection with an on-field fight at a high school football game in September.

South Annville Township Police issued this release Wednesday:

  ” The South Annville Police Department upon completion of their investigation have filed charges for Simple Assault and Disorderly Conduct in regards to the incident that took place on the playing field on Sept. 6, 2013 during the Annville/Cleona -Hamburg Football Game.  Due to the case involving Juveniles, no other information will be released. “

The on-field fight happened at the September 6 football game between Annville/Cleona and Hamburg. A Hamburg player tore off an Annville player’s helmet and proceeded to strike him with it.
