Police in York County release a surveillance photo in hope that someone recognize a man who may have attempted to set fire to a gas station.  It happened at about 6:30 pm on November 15 at the SAC Shell gas station in the 100 block of Limekiln Road, New Cumberland.

A clerk noticed the odor of smoke inside the building. Checking around, the clerk discovered somebody had lit a pile of paper on fire and stuffed it into a void beneath the ATM machine outside the store.  The clerk removed the smoldering papers and extinguish them preventing the building from catching fire.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Fairview Township Police at (717) 901-5267.
