In Lancaster, The Water Street Mission is getting ready for their annual Thanksgiving dinner.  And they say they’re grateful for the outpouring of support they received from last Friday’s Extraordinary Give Campaign.  The online fundraising drive earned more than $3 million for the more than 250 area charities.  And the mission received the most dollars, more than $113,000 from the 24 hour online donation campaign.  Plus, an additional $12,000 for the Water Street Health Services to provide health and dental examinations and services.  Changes in food stamp policy, a recent decline in donations and the colder weather are making this an exceptionally challenging time for the mission.
